This series of images of the artificial horizon were taken just as the plane was straightening itself after a turn. The green cross is the Flight Director. It provides steering support and displays the angle and the bank of the plane. The display might looks like a video game but we can rely on it completely if we have taken the needed care while programming and examining its parameters.
